Prep for Powder Coating in San Francisco & the Bay Area
Strip and profile metal parts, frames and railings before they go to the powder coater.
Powder coat only lasts if it goes on bare, profiled metal. We strip old paint, powder, rust and scale, and leave the part clean and ready for the oven.
We handle one-offs (a set of wheels, a gate) and production lots (railing sections, furniture frames, bike racks) and can work at your shop or at the powder coater's yard.
Aluminum and cast parts are blasted at reduced pressure to protect the surface.
