Masonry & Brick Cleaning in San Francisco & the Bay Area
Clean and strip brick, block and stone — carefully.
Old paint, efflorescence, soot and graffiti can be removed from masonry with low-pressure blasting and the right media. The goal is to clean the surface, not erode it, so we always start gentle and test.
Silicone-based paints are the exception: there is no way to remove them without destroying the brick face, and we won't attempt it. We'll tell you the honest answer and suggest another approach.
Interior exposed-brick projects are common in SF — we contain the area and keep the dust down with wet blasting.
