Dustless Blasting in San Francisco & the Bay Area
Wet abrasive blasting that strips paint, rust and coatings with up to 92% less dust than dry sandblasting.
Dustless blasting mixes recycled crushed glass (or another abrasive) with water inside the blast pot. The water encapsulates each particle, so the abrasive hits harder with far less airborne dust and no static heat — which is why it won't warp sheet metal the way dry blasting can.
Our rigs are fully self-contained: compressor, water tank and power ride on the truck. On most jobs the only thing we need from you is a parking spot and access to the surface.
We choose media and pressure per surface. Crushed glass for steel and concrete, softer media for wood and brick, and we always test a small patch first so you can see the finish before we commit.

Questions about dustless blasting
Is dustless blasting really dust-free?
Not 100%, but close — the water suppresses most airborne particles. We still mask and contain adjacent areas, and we recommend it over dry blasting anywhere people are working nearby.
Will it flash-rust steel?
Bare steel can flash-rust within hours in Bay Area humidity. We add a rust inhibitor to the water on every steel job, which holds the surface for roughly 72 hours so you can coat it.
How much does dustless blasting cost?
From $3 per square foot, or $2,500 per crew day for larger projects. Most jobs are quoted over the phone the same day.
